Global and project-specific permissions
The primary distinction in permission assignment is between global and project-specific permissions.
- Global permissions affect the entire Account group.
- Global permissions can be assigned using the simple role model or in detail, with the Advanced Rights option in the User Management.
- Project-specific permissions refer to the respective project on which the permission was applied.
- Project-specific permissions can be assigned, according to the use case, on the Projects tab, in the project or in the User Management.
- Project-specific authorizations are more powerful than global permissions.
- The permission to receive mail notifications on incoming eCall messages can be assigned as global permission as well as project-specific.
Note: If a user of your Account group has left your organization, the account can be shut down with the option No rights in the User Management.
